Stories of Animal Abuse and Neglect
STOP IT!
By Grey Poodle of LuckyDogMart.com
Grey Poodle looked at various cases posted on pet-abuse website and decided to highlight some of the cases on an ongoing basis. The more this information is talked and written about; maybe we as humans can learn and be more passionate and civil about animal welfare. Grey Poodle is shocked and discussed about crazy animal abusers. If you know or suspect abuse in your neighborhood, feel free to report abuse to authorities as we should not tolerate any abuse of animals or humans.
A Sponsylvania Virginia 66 year old man, who has been registered as a sex offender since 2005 for convictions for sexual crimes against a child was arrested for bestiality. He admitted to messing around with his pet female German Shepard to members of his family. Was he proud that he had kicked his fondness of molesting children and moved over to molesting his loving pet? Grey Poodle thinks this sicko should be neutered like many innocent dogs are.
Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, police in Peotone Illinois confiscated 49 animals from Nikima Wright for running a puppy mill without a license. At the time the dogs were malnourished and had urine and feces encrusted on them. They were stacked in cages three or four high. The dogs in ages ranging from 3 months to 7 years old consisted of Poodles, Yorkies, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Maltese and various mixed breeds and according to authorities at least a dozen could have perished within a week in the unheated garage. Many of the dogs were dehydrated and malnourished. According to a news report the puppies from these dogs were sold for $600 to $700 each and that Ms. Wright would always deliver the dogs and not let any customers visit at her house. At the time of the raid there were 15 puppies inside the house, but they were not confiscated due to being too young. Ms. Wright got a lawyer to fight the charges, and Grey Poodle is happy to report she did not get them back. What is hard to believe is that while all this was playing out, Ms. Wright was able to get a dog breeding license by paying a $25 fee and filling out forms with the Illinois Department of Agriculture. They said their hands were tied. Grey Poodle thinks that animal abusers should not get a second chance. How can Ms. Wright be so cruel and put money in front of loving innocent animals?
81 year old Aylen Icgoron has spent her golden years abusing cats in Columbia, Maryland along with her 52 year old daughter. In this case the apple does not fall far from the tree. When authorities, acting on complaints from neighbors about the stench from their townhouse, they found 70 or more dead cats and 58 living sickly cats. Out of the 58 live cats 50 had to be put to sleep and subsequently 5 more died. They had bloody pays, blindness and much difficulty breathing. Authorities found eight inches of feces on the garage floor where most of the cats were. Grey Poodle is discussed by this neglect. I guess these animal abusers have not heard of BioBags and have no idea of how to respect animals and keep them healthy in a clean condition. Because of Ms. Icgoron’s older age she got six months in jail after violating probation by continuing to be cruel to another cat while her daughter is still in jail awaiting trial. What is wrong with them? Grey Poodle thinks they should be locked in a room where they have to smell their own poop and live in it.

Michael Jackson Died But Not Forgotten
By Grey Poodle of www.LuckyDogMart.com
It may be a coincidence, but this post is number 50 which is equivalent of Michael Jacksons’ age when he passed away.
Michael Jackson will be remembered as a great music superstar of our generation, but he is also known for his love for animals. Many of his animals were rescued from animal research and were well taken care of at his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County until March, 2008 where they went to the Voices of the Wild Foundation in Arizona. We will miss you Michael.

Veterinary Secrets Reveald

Please watch this video. It is important to keep your dogs’ anal glands clean. You should do this at least once a month. If you can’t afford to go to the vet all the time, this is something you can learn to do for your dog and save some money as well. Dr. Andrew Jones, DVM demonstrates how to do this very clearly and offers some other helpful tips as well. Before I learned how to do this for my dog, my vet warned me to be very careful about moving your finger in the anal area as the dog poop can shoot out with force at times. In my experience, it is good to have some BioBags handy.
